A quilt for my mum for Xmas

I had some fabrics left so I made her a table runner to match using the quilt as you go method.

My first free motion quilting! yeah!! Thanks to my lovely friend for showing me how to do it. I still need to practice but if you have any tips, I'd love to read them in the comment box bellow!

A quilt I made for my very close Friend as I stained her previous blanket with tea one evening.... she 's happy though!

 

A very small quilt I made for my very close friend's daughter's first birthday. It was one of the first one I made and you can see the binding is terrible!! I've learnt a lot since then!!

 

I made this table runner using half square triangles for winter.

HELLO EVE….Im so sorry Eve it has taken me so long to say such a massive thank you for Hatties gorgeous quilts you made for me last year, the first one you made I will treasure for ever..Im not sure if you will understand but it meant so much to know she was lying on such a beauitful quilt instead of hard hospital sheets, I know she was the envy of the NICU unit with her flash fish tank.. I gave the last one to the unit as a gift to say thank you, so I know that some other lucky baby will have the same treatment as Hattie {a bed for a princess}…Also you made a wonderful bunting for Hatties Birthday… I cant put into words… how wonderful and special all the things are you have made us… so I will leave now sending you a big kiss and hug from Hattie and lots of love from me Kate ….xxxxx
