Coucou Eve! C’est Maya!
I love your site! It’s great! Your quilts are wonderful and I love all your tutorials and I love the tote bag you put on for me! I look at quiltylicious reguarly and love to see what you’re getting up to! I created my own blog called thecraftyleaf using wordpress but it’s not very easy to use. I’ve posted a few things on but I’m struggling to post pictures on effectively. If you have any reccommendations, please contact me! I hope the very few posts I’ve done so far interest you and I’ll hopefully be working on more! Thanks for sharing this wonderful site with us I love it! See you soon!
I love your chevron quilt you made for your son. I do have a question, you used 8 different fat quarters and then u need an additional 2 fat quarters for binding or is that included in the 8
Hi!
Thanks for your question! I’m sorry if I wasn’t very clear on what was needed to make this quilt but I hope I can correct this! So you will need 8 patterned fat quarters and 50cm of plain fabric. I then needed and additional 2 fat quarters for the binding. so in total 10 fat quarters! Happy sewing!
I need an pattern for the chevron quilt. Please send me an Email
The quilt is beautiful and my granddaughter wants one and it looks like a challenge for mel
Many thanks
Boyce
Very sorry for the very late reply. I’m afraid there is no pattern for the chevron quilt. I chose the fabric and decided how to put the colours together. I’m sorry this is not very helpful…
Thank you so much for being so giving and sharing this tutorial. I have sewn all my life starting at age 11, but am relatively new to quilting. Tutorial help so much to give that little extra help. It is like having a friend to go to with questions. I live in Tennessee in the United States and love to sew. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge. It was nice to meet you. LOL

Please let us know if we have permission to feature your projects and photos on FaveQuilts.com and in newsletters. I look forward to hearing from you!
My daughter has asked me to make queen sized chevron quilt for her bed. I am not very good at math so I need some help figuring out how much fabric yardage I will need to get to complete this project for her. She would like it to be in three colors…navy blue, grey and white. Can you help me to know how much yardage I will need to purchase to complete this project. Thank you so much.
I LOVE your large canvas beach tote – I was looking for something similar to fit all our beach stuff in as I too am fed up with how many bags we seem to carry everywhere! Will you commission one for me and what would be the cost? Please feel free to email me directly.
Hi Louisa! I am terribly sorry to have replied several months after your comment… I suppose you don’t need one anymore. But if you do please contact me at eve@crua.net and we can discuss further the subject. Hope to hear from you soon!
